Another site about podcasting (yes mine is in the works.. any day now and I’ll be ready..)
This one contains a lot of guest articles by people already creating podcasts and their thoughts about it’s future.
I agree totally about the advertising and marketing big boys eventually realising that this new medium is going to worth making money from and eventually controlling. However Internet Marketers are not all broadcasters and there may be a specialist niche opening for podverts(tm)
and podvert creators. I’ve just invented the term podvert - I think!
With marketing it’s always been a numbers game. Once podcasts become more mainstream and the software incorporated/integrated directly into iTunes or Windows Media Player the audience figures will grow and the more popular shows will be forced into using some sort of advertising to pay their bandwidth charges…
Anyway take a look at the article and some of the archives by clicking here

Funny how surfing can turn up something interesting once in a while.
Whilst reading a bbs post about photoshop 6 being available cheaply and doing a search on ebay for it I noticed that the seller allowed you to use moneybookers.com. A search for moneybookers integration (i.e. will it do the same as Paypal IPN or 2checkout.com??) lead me to this site.
It is a free useful resource because you can do comparisons based on your turnover and product unit sales as to which payment processor is the most cost effective. I have to say that the tool is in pounds but you could re-work it into other currencies.
For people in the UK it’s a wonderful resource about taking payments online.

Whilst I was searching for info about radio presentation techniques I came across this site..
GreatVoice - Captivate any audience with powerful public speaking techniques
If you’re considering recording podcasts - like I am - then you may need a few pointers along the way. This site has a treasure trove of information on voiceover techniques, getting demos made (although we know that it costs less to buy the hardware and learn to do it yourself than it does to go into a studio - if you know what you are doing and what to buy.)
There’s even a teleseminar mp3 that you can download with more tips and advice.
Worth a look if you need to brush up on your vocal skills.
